Just *hopping* in real quick to wish you all a very Happy Easter! This card is for my son and features stamps from Impression Obsession, who incidentally are having an Easter challenge. The fuzzy bunny is a 3 step stamp from the set called Bunny Love, and the sentiment is a cling rubber also from IO called (fittingly) Happy Easter. 😉 I have mentioned it before, and I’ll say it again… I love my IO hybrid ink pads and love that you can get 3 shades of each color. I used the Tan for the lightest base layer, Caramel for the fuzzy layer, and Chocolate for the bow. I love the texture you get from the 2nd layer of the bunny! After stamping, I die cut the image and sentiment with stitched dies. The plaid paper and sheer ribbon are from my stash, and since this card is for my now adult son, I refrained from adding any bling… but boy was that hard! There is another layer to the bunny… the fluffy tail! I could have heat embossed it in white but I was afraid it would get lost on the white paper. Maybe next time I use darker inks on kraft paper and emboss the tail layer.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy you Easter in quarantine. It won’t be long before we can all gather with our extended families again and likely argue about politics, just like old times. I think it is fitting that there will be a certain amount of peace in the world this Easter as all of mankind unites against a common enemy… toilet paper hoarders. 🤣
