Ugh! It’s been a busy week so crafty time has been at a minimum, and I’ve got a few more days without getting any quality time in the craft room 😦 I do have something to share though… behold, some Halloween goodness:
This is yet another card based on a deconstructingjen.com sketch, this one #57 from the archives. The paper is from the All Hallow’s Eve 6×6 stack from Carta Bella. I actually sliced and diced the paper a bit so the strips I liked wouldn’t be buried (Lol… buried!… excuse the pun), reassembled in the order I preferred and inked all the edges to give it the appearance it came that way! I stamped the sentiment, then cut, embossed, and stenciled it using Spellbinders Labels 4. The banner was cut with the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch (gotta rationalize that purchase from years ago with a few more cards!!!). A few adhesive black pearls helped to dress it up a little. I’m not usually a fan of kraft cardstock, but there are just sometimes that its the only thing that works. I had fun with the inside… the spider web is embossed with Opaline Cosmic embossing powder from Sparkle and Sprinkle which has the most beautiful and detailed pearlescent sparkly finish, though hard to tell in pics. Some of that sparkle is still all over my desk, but you can’t work with any kind of glitter without leaving a glitter trail the rest of the day, right?!?
Can’t wait to show off the next card 😉 Stay tuned!!!
