Mid Month Inspiration with JDS

Today’s card for the JDS mid-challenge inspiration post was super easy to create using a precolored image and sentiment from Jan’s Digi Stamps, from her set called Floral Flourish. To keep the focus on the image, I printed it large and included the sentiment on the same panel. I didn’t want the background to distract from the image so I simply ink smooshed 3 coordinating shades of Distress Oxide (Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar, and Twisted Citron) along the border of the card base. Once dry, I ran it through my die cutter to flatten it out, then I mounted the focal panel up on foam tape. See, super easy! Here is another look:

This post is to help remind you that there is still time to enter the April challenge at Jan’s Digi Stamps Challenge so head over to see what the rest of the DT has created to inspire you! And while you are there, be sure to link up your latest creations. Remember that the JDS challenges are truly Anything Goes and do not need to use digi stamps or even be cards. Anything you created with your hands can be an entry, but *if* you do use an image from Jan’s Digi Stamps, you have an extra chance to win! See the challenge site for all the details!

I hope to eventually be back to posting more than I’m actually obligated to, but its going to be awhile. If it weren’t for obligations, I’d be completely MIA, so at least I’m still getting to play with paper… even if it is only 4 times a month! Thanks for visiting me and being patient with me while I’m adjusting to some unwelcome changes that have virtually eliminated my crafting and computer time. I am missing my crafty friends even more than I miss my crafty time!!! 😘
