November Mid-Month DT Post for JDS

I’ve been MIA for a bit because my autoimmune has been flaring and typing is painful. Keeping this post as short as I can as a result, so please forgive me. Today’s ultra CAS card for the November challenge mid-month inspiration uses a small accessory image and sentiment from the Autumn of Splendor set from Jan’s Digi Stamps.

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, adding a shadow in the snow beneath them. Then I added Ice Stickles, both in a line on top of the snow and then brushed more over the whole snow area for a glittery effect. I struggle leaving well enough alone, and added more glitter glue for falling snow, making me wish I had colored the pine cones to look like they had snow on them. Uber CAS, yet still pretty and sparkly. Here is a closeup trying to capture all the shimmer:

I hope you are following us at the Jan’s Digi Stamps Challenge and Jan’s Digi Stamp Shop. If so, you already know this news, but I wanted to share with the rest of you that Jan has a deal and a freebie available through Christmas:

Now you’ll want to hit the Jan’s Digi Stamp Challenge site to see what my teamies made to inspire you and to enter your latest creation into the challenge to have a chance to win 1 of 2 prizes (details on the challenge site). Then you’ll want to pop into the Jan’s Digi Stamp shop to snatch up your freebie and grab anything else that tickles your creative fancy!

That’s all for me for the foreseeable future. I’ll be back in time for the Collected Crafty Collabs Hop on the 25th, but not likely before then unless my hands become much more cooperative. I’d cross my fingers, except I can’t!
