Wow… 2 cards in 1 day. I either found my mojo again or I just work better under pressure! Pretty sure its the pressure… Ha!!! I needed a quick Christmas card for my hairdresser, and this has her name all over it! Following the sketch at Sketch and Stash, it came together fairly quick too.
I used kraft cardstock for the base, and I think the patterned paper was from an All Seasons pad from the Paper Studio… been in my stash for years. I used a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder I’ve had forever, then inked with Memories ink in Unicorn. The stamps are in Memento Rhubarb Stalk. I used same snowflake as last card, from the Silhouette store, only this time I covered them in Crystal Stickles, which hasn’t seen the light of day in a long time. I designed the tree in the Silhouette software and embellished the ornaments with Fired Brick Distress Stickles and Cotton Candy Stickles. Ribbon and a pearl are the finishing touches. I love how the Sketch & Stash and Use It Tuesday challenges help revive those supplies that haven’t seen some love in a while!!!
I’m entering this card in the following challenges:
- Sketch and Stash #127 –
- Use It Tuesday Winter/Holidays theme – so sad to see that this is the last Use It Tuesday challenge 😦
- 2 Creative Chicks Christmas/Winter theme –
fun sketch! You did a great job with your card. I love the colors in that DP and such a fun tree! Thanks for playing in our final challenge at Use It Tuesday! Best wishes always! Tammy DT
