Hello, friends! Feels like we’re barely in the new year and yet already March is upon us! And to kick off a new month, I have not just 1, but 2 posts for you today. Click here if you are looking for the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies March post. But here I am sharing my Jan’s Digi Stamps Challenge card made with some of Jan’s new sets for Easter. Jan released 2 new Easter sets… Easter Blessings and Happy Easter. Have a look at the sets:

If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know that I love to play with the accessory images included in Jan’s sets as much as I like the full layered images. I selected the Easter Lilies image from Easter Blessings but I decided to pair it up with a sentiment from Happy Easter, because that script font really spoke to me! I arranged them so the sentiment just nestled into the floral image. I started out thinking I was going to stay very CAS but I saw a photo of lilies with a lot of purple in them, which sent me down a completely different road. I used the photo to inspire my coloring with Prismacolor pencils. Then rather that having a completely white card front, I serendipitously found this purple and white polka dot paper and had to use it! I cut down my focal panel and mounted it to the patterned paper, but I wanted a pop of green so I embossed a scrap of matching green cardstock with a dot pattern embossing folder. I used Versamark ink on the scrap just a little to help the dots pop off the page more. To finish the card off, I added 3 matte epoxy dots and the card was done! Here’s another look at it:
