This is my 2nd card designed with the Jane’s Doodles rainbow challenge in mind. This time I thought I’d take a more subtle approach. I gave the girl a rainbow colored outfit!!! This image is a freebie available on the Jane’s Doodles blog. Jane has been very generous during the quarantine and released quite a few freebies so you should go check it out if you don’t already follow their blog. I printed this image on Bristol paper and again on copy paper. I fussy cut the copy paper image and used removable adhesive to use it as a mask. I ink blended Distress Oxide inks over the background, then removed the mask. I colored the image itself with Prismacolor pencils. I die cut the image with a SSS stitched rectangle die and popped it on my card with fun foam, leaving a white border. The sentiment is from the Jane’s Doodles set called All Occasions which I heat embossed in white on the outside. I stamped a 2nd sentiment from the same set on the inside.

My bestie sometimes struggles with all that is happening in our country and around the world. Like me, she is a worrier. There is much to worry about… the health of our loved ones and ourselves, and the economy, and how it will affect us. I have hope and believe in what our government is doing to help. I know these things take time and I pray everyone gets what they need in time. If my bestie were here I’d hug her and distract her from the worries of the world. But since she is 600 miles away and we’re both in quarantine, this card will have to do 😊
